Mary Kay friends

I just spent two days with my Mary Kay friends. Here some of us are a a free lunch we earned. Lots of appreciation & fun. These are the best friends to have. They are filled with happiness & love. I am blessed to have them in my life!

One of the speakers talked about how most of the world is standing in the corner sucking their thumb complaining while our company is growing & doing better than ever. My business and team sure are doing well. We will be starting qualification next month for the Mary Kay car. I think this time I will take the cash compensation. I don't think the boys will fit in the back seat. We need more ROOM! I'm thinking of buying something with three rows. I do not want a van- any suggestions???

D-Day

Two years ago today I got the call.
Rob had to tell me it was today- I guess that is good?

Where is a nurse when you need one? Flordia I guess! Jordan did a face plant while on Kade's bike during a walk. Why was he on Kade's bike??? He looked worse in the road covered with blood. Don't worry he didn't break any teeth!

Birds and the Bees

Kade told me this morning that Polar bears have to mate to have babies. I told him that most things do have to mate to have babies. He said "Even mommies & daddies!"

The night before I got married was the first time I was sure my parents did the "wild thing". Dad & I had stayed up late having a nice talk while I was still single & pure. It was very hot & I couldn't fall asleep. Mom got up to go to the bathroom. No worries. Then dad got up to take a shower---not much sleep that night- for me at least. That was the night O.J. had the big white Ford bronco chase in L.A. Memories.....

Hobo or Homo?

The little boys were calling each other "homo". I told them that was not nice. Kade said it's not mean it's just someone who lives in the dumpster & doen't have a home!

Then he said "Well what is a homo?" I changed the subject- didn't want to get into that conversation!

Hemrich Brewery

This is the Hemrich Brothers Brewing company. It has gone out of business. I'm guessing because they had Hemrichs working there!!
