15 years ago we were due to have a baby on December 13th. On Dec. 6th I had a regular appt. with my OB. He said "you are not going to have that baby till after Christmas!" On December 7th I woke up not feeling well. I went to work & decided to leave at noon. I called Rob & he met me at the Dr's office. The Dr. came back from lunch at 1:00 & I was waiting for him. They put us in a room & I thought I was going to DIE!! It seemed like forever that I waited-finally he came in & checked me. He said "you are ready to deliver!" OK- I was ready to push that thing out---NO Honey- you need to go to the hospital!!! Excuse me??? I walked into the hospital & had an argument with the lady at the desk that I was not the pt. from the office that had called because she was about to deliver-duh. Jordan was born at 2:00. I tease him that his birth was the fastest thing he has ever done.

I can't even start to say how wonderful Jordan is. Other than his little projects & a messy room he is almost perfect. He reminds me of Rob. He will make a good husband someday.

He wanted me to make Pumpkin Spice cake- that's what he wants every year. I can't believe he will be driving in a year- can I be that old???
