We have been busy with a few projects around the house. We are getting some finished & it feels so good!!!

We rented a sander this weekend & sanded all the wood floors! Rob seems to lack my ability to start something & finish it 4 months later. (See Kade's room- that was my baby)

He may be trying to kill me-I'm not sure. Man I am SORE. We have our bedroom finished with all furniture back in & clean. My office needs a final coat. We just have dining room & living room to stain/poly. The floors look GREAT. I just keep thinking all this hard work will be worth it. If I survive??? I am also so grateful for all this energy- I feel amazing!!!

We had lots of fun, but are glad to be home.

A guy asked Rob what his dream vacation is- he said he just doesn't want to go to work & spend time with his family & his perfect wife. Maybe he didn't say perfect???

Home Projects

The Hemrich's have been busy with some home improvement projects. I finished the stairs in record time-2 months. It seems that I have a small problem getting things finished.

Planting flowers & a new addition to the family.

Laundry room painted & we moved Dad's washer/dryer out. Rob made little stands for W/D because we can't stack them. That saved me a few $$$ on overpriced stands from Menards. I LOVE my washer/dryer. I love Rob too:))

When I painted Garrett's room I got some paint on the nasty orange/rust carpet-darn!! The plan was new carpet-but when I pulled up a corner of the carpet & cleaned the foam off with steel wool----BAM---beautiful wood floors!!! YES!!There are two spots that are not perfect & they just happen to be by the door. I wanted this photo to show the contrast to the lovely carpet.

This is the best toothbrush on the market! I think everyone should be forced to use it daily so I don't have to work as hard. I have not ran this by my State Representative like my "daily flossing" law. I will work on that when I get time!
