The little boys were calling each other "homo". I told them that was not nice. Kade said it's not mean it's just someone who lives in the dumpster & doen't have a home!Then he said "Well what is a homo?" I changed the subject- didn't want to get into that conversation!

Hobo's generally take to cardboard boxes. Homo's like the dark, stank ones.
They've probably heard the older boys doing this, I about freaked the first time I heard one of Robert's friends tell him he was gay. They use "homo" too. I kinda jumped on to the boys that were here when it happened and found out that "everybody says it". (They instantly made me feel old and "out of touch"). They also say "that's so gay" so I guess it's a fad we have to live with.
