I'm a Grandma!

Jordan is a daddy for the week. He brought home his little bundle of joy today. Her name is Ann Flour Hemrich. Jordan said there are only three things he shouldn't do: don't drop, abuse or lose it. And if the baby gets severly injured they have to clean up the mess. I'm thinking of making him get up in the night to feed her. I was up every 2 hours with Garrett.

I think he should keep it away from his brothers, but who listens to me???

I told him I think I dropped him a few times & he turned out fine.

I'll need to keep an eye out for signs of drinking by the end of the week.

Busy weekend

Matt Poss

My buddy Matt Passalacqua is playing at the Rosebud on Saturday. We love watching Matt play- the whole fam will be going Saturday. I think Matt has lots of talent & we know he will make it BIG soon. Head over to Effingham Saturday if you would like to see a great show!

Wine Trip

I spent Saturday with the CRAZY (in a good way) ladies from I.D.O.T on a bus trip to raise money for the American Cancer Society. We had a blast to say the least! I loved Blue Sky Winery- they were having a wedding. My favorite crazy mom (D.D.) went with me. My friend Amy invited us- Thanks Amy!!

What a Month!

I feel like it should be the end of April! We did have a nice quiet Easter.

April 12th was my 2 year mark for Breast Cancer. Sometimes it seems like yesterday & yet sometimes it seems like last week. The weird thing is I don't think about it as much as I thought I would. My first thought Sunday morning was "this is the day I had surgery"- then I didn't think of it until that evening. Rob didn't remember- he had more trauma from the diagnosis date. I am feeling great! Everyone says that I look good- I think that I never looked bad??? I'll post a picture of us at Easter also.

Jordan room is clean!!! Just in time for the parade of people we had here last week looking at the house! I think they had 5 showings last week! I lost track.

Rob's dad passed away last night. He will be greatly missed by many. Most of all his wife of 50 years. I have been blessed to be in this family. When I met Rob every other person we saw he would introduce as his brother or sister. I finally asked how many he had & almost fell over when he said 10!!! I can't say enough about how wonderful Rob's family is. I also have the most amazing husband in the world- Thank you Delbert!!
