My friend Amy.

My friend Amy had her last treatment today!!! I didn't know Amy until after she was diagnosed with breast cancer. I have been her mentor these last few months. I think of all the wonderful people that I have met all because of this thing called cancer. This "Cancer" has been a blessing to me-I really feel that I can help others & make their life better. Because of Amy I met another beautiful gal-Jodi. She starts her chemotherapy tomorrow. Jodi said it best today "we realize our blessings everyday-cancer puts everything in perspective." We all are so truly blessed. I am so grateful to be able to have been a part of these beautiful lives!!

snowman man

The boys made a little snowman on Monday. My mom came over while I was at work. Kade couldn't wait to tell me that the snowman was a boy. The big boys didn't hear this conversation. I asked if the blue hat made it a boy & he said "No- we put rocks on it to make it a boy!" Then he told me they wouldn't stick. I knew exactly who had this idea-Garrett!
Tuesday morning in the car I asked all three boys if there were any rocks on the snowman that would be embarrassing to me-as if I have never been embarrassed before. Garrett asked how I knew about the rocks-I told him that I know everything!

The poor snowman got ran over the next day. I'm sure Rob will find some rocks in the yard.

New Ride

Jordan bought Garrett & Kade a motorcycle. It is to big for Kade. It is called a pit bike. It has a 90cc engine. Garrett has to pay Jordan back with 1% interest.

I think Garrett needs some new coveralls.

Way to go Ashley!!

Ashley has finished her first semester at SIU-E with a 3.8 GPA! She is on the Deans list!! I am so proud of her-Way to go Ash!

Ashley will be representing Jasper County this weekend in the State pageant in Springfield. I know she will win!!!

Ashley was 6 months old when I fell in love with Rob. She was sooo cute & I would always look forward to seeing her. Rob has always been good with kids & I think that's part of the reason I fell in love with him--plus he was soooo SEXY!!

Date Night

Went on a date with my hubby on NYE. We had a great time! Rob is so much fun- I'm glad I made him marry me!!

I am now wearing ear plugs to bed (a gift from my favorite husband). He has started snoring in his old age. I'm not sure if the ear plugs are 100% effective. Any suggestions???
