Fair Queen

A few years ago I got an foundation emergency e-mail. The e-mail was vj90- so I'm thinking it is someone I went to high school with. NO- That is the year she was born!!!

Vanessa has been my Mary Kay customer from that point on. I helped her with her make up yesterday & she was perfect!!! I know she will do a great job as our fair queen!! (Her Mary Kay looks pretty good in the 100 degree weather-better than mine)

I am so proud of Ashley Hemrich- she could not have done a better job. She is so special to me. In 1990 I was the fair queen & fell in love with Rob that week. I met Ashley when she was 6 months old & fell in love with her also. We've has some great times.

SOLD!

It's offical the house is sold! Now we get to start packing-FUN! I sold the living room furniture to the real estate agent. That gave Rob a little stress. He said " I love that chair!" Well I hate it & say goodbye. If anyone needs anything let me know- I'm in the selling mood. Dining room table & chairs. Jyn- you told me you like the hutch in DR????

15 years ago today a young girl & guy got married on a VERY hot day. I have fallen in love with Rob again each day in all those years. Everything just keeps getting better. I can't wait for 15 more!!

The strangest thing happened last night. I think I had a stroke. We all stayed up late. Jordan fell asleep on the couch. Garrett had his pillow & blanket on the couch & I watched him walk to the bedroom. Rob always checks the doors before he goes to sleep- the back door was opened just a little. Rob woke up at 1:00 & thought he heard something. He looked outside didn't see anything so he checked on the kids. He couldn't find Garrett!! I remember him looking in our closet & he said he couldn't find Garrett. I'm thinking "he's not in the closet" I roll over & don't appreciate getting disturbed. Rob checks all over the house & outside. He tells me again that he can't find Garrett & I can tell by his voice that he is worried. I jump up, turn on all the lights & we are yelling for him inside & out. Jordan wakes up just enough to use the bathroom---Jordan got to clean the bathroom this morning. Joy! We can not find Garrett!!! I told Rob I think we need to call the police. I pulled out the storage container from my Mary Kay table (see photo above)& see Garrett's blanket & a leg. I poke the leg & it moves---thank God!!! I don't think I have ever been so scared!!! Then I was almost mad. He said that's where he went to sleep. At one point I was thinking he had been sleep walking & went outside. Jordan is good about sleep walking.

Quite the excitement. I'm glad we were home. I would have called the cops & probably would have accused some poor innocent person of stealing my baby when he was with us the whole time!

We had a great first day of our Hemrich "staycation". We went to the beach (Josh's pond), had a pathetic lunch by an amazing chef (ham salad made by me) & the maid came to tidy up the place (me again). The boys did make breakfast- it was much better than my lunch. I am amazed at how much they eat & drink!!! I think Kade eats the most- that boy is UNBELIEVABLE!!!

I found a tiny turtle (Fred is his name). I picked it up & it totally attatcked Kade. It clamped on his finger & scared us to death. So, I'm thinking it is a snapping turtle. Well it isn't- Oops. I'm going to take it to The Smile Center. Two years ago a little boy left us two turtles that stayed all summer. That will give me something to do at work- stare out the window at Fred-good times!

I ended my evening with a Mary Kay meeting. I won a free necklace for top sales last week- $400! I LOVE my MK friends. We are having Monday night meetings now in Newton & I am SOOO happy. That will be a good way to start the weeks. Next week will be PMS for the guests (Pamper Me Silly) Let me know if you would like to be my guest.
